Awards for Lower Austrian state winners on November 15, 2016
AUSTRIA’S LEADING COMPANIES – the biggest business competition in the country – took place this year for the fifteenth time. The organisers were newspaper “Die Presse” Verlags-GEsellschaft m.b.H., Kreditschutzverband 1870 and PwC PricewaterhouseCoopers.
This year’s competition pursued the objective of honouring companies that are successful on an on-going basis and financially stable. This time, the sustainability and corporate responsibility of the companies was rated, besides the most important key figures of the past year.
The competitors were divided into three categories:
- Big players: annual sales > 50 million €
- Golden mid-caps: annual sales > 10 million € and < 50 million €
- Solid small-caps: annual sales < 10 million €
In the awards for the Lower Austrian state winners of the AUSTRIA’S LEADING COMPANIES 2016, Profibaustoffe Austria GmbH took 4th place in the “Golden mid-caps” category.
