Awards for Lower Austrian state winners on October 14, 2009
AUSTRIA’S LEADING COMPANIES, the biggest business competition in the country, took place this year for the eleventh time. The organisers were Wirtschaftsblatt, Kreditschutzverband and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
This year’s competition pursued the objective of honouring companies that are successful on an on-going basis and financially stable. This time, the sustainability and corporate responsibility of the companies was rated, besides the most important key figures of the past four years.
The competitors were divided into three categories:
- Big players
(annual sales > 50 million €) - Golden mid-caps
(annual sales > 10 million € and < 50 million €) - Solid small-caps
(annual sales < 10 million €)
In the year 2009, in which the focus was on effective management for the first time, Profibaustoffe Austria GmbH (formerly known as Ernstbrunner Kalktechnik GmbH) was once again able to demonstrate its lasting success through responsible management.
In the KSV rating of the Kreditschutzverband, the company took 1st place in the “Dynamic Mid-Cap Companies” category (KSV value: 172).
In the awards for the Lower Austrian state winners in AUSTRIA’S LEADING COMPANIES 2009, Profibaustoffe Austria GmbH (formerly known as Ernstbrunner Kalktechnik GmbH) took 3rd place this time in the “Golden Mid-Caps” category.
