Awards for Lower Austrian state winners on November 12, 2013
AUSTRIA’S LEADING COMPANIES – the biggest business competition in the country – took place this year for the fifteenth time. The organisers were the Wirtschaftsblatt newspaper, Kreditschutzverband 1870 and PwC PricewaterhouseCoopers.
This year’s competition pursued the objective of honouring companies that are successful on an on-going basis and financially stable. This time, the sustainability and corporate responsibility of the companies was rated, besides the most important key figures of the past four years.
The competitors were divided into three categories:
- Big players: annual sales > 50 million €
- Golden mid-caps: annual sales > 10 million € and < 50 million €
- Solid small-caps: annual sales < 10 million €
In the awards for the Lower Austrian state winners of the AUSTRIA’S LEADING COMPANIES 2013, Profibaustoffe Austria GmbH (formerly known as Ernstbrunner Kalktechnik GmbH) took 8th place in the “Golden mid-caps” category.
